Delhi fog LIVE updates: As a cold wave continues its grip over northern India, the national capital on Wednesday, December 27 saw one of the most dense fog of the season. The weather agencies issued an orange alert for the city for the next 3 days. In some areas, the visibility was almost zero. Residents shared videos and images of fog on social media platform X, sharing the difficulties they are experiencing while travelling. Amid the foggy conditions in Delhi, over 100 flights both international and domestic are running later. The Delhi Airport issued an advisory urging passengers to keep a tab on their respective flights. Furthermore, railway services have also been heavily disturbed. As many as 30 trains have been cancelled and many are running late.

    Flights delayed and diverted

After the Delhi Airport issued a passenger advisory, news agency ANI cited Delhi Airport FIDS (Flight Information Display System) that approximately 110 flights both arriving and departure flights were delayed due to dense fog.

This development comes as almost 450 flights were delayed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport due to a dense layer of fog covering the city on Tuesday. According to the aircraft tracking website flightradar24, around 160 arriving and 290 departing flights were delayed.
