    Startup Mahakumbh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to participate in the “Startup Mahakumbh” on Wednesday at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. This three-day event, organized by the government, aims to strengthen the startup ecosystem and encourage investments in the sector.

    The event began on March 18 and will culminate on Wednesday. It is jointly organized by prominent industry associations, including Bootstrap Incubation & Advisory Foundation and the Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association (IVCA), with support from the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).

    • Eminent industry leaders and policymakers highlighted startups’ crucial role in driving India’s economic progress and development.
    • The event featured 10 thematic pavilions showcasing innovation in areas like Deeptech, AI & SaaS, Fintech, Agritech, Biotech & Pharma, Climate Tech, Gaming & E-Sports, D2C, B2B & Manufacturing, and Incubators.
    • A dedicated exhibition area allowed startups to showcase their products and services, facilitating interactions and potential investor collaborations.
    • Interaction sessions with DPIIT officials provided insights into government initiatives supporting startups, including funding schemes, mentorship programs, and regulatory reforms.
    • Experts engaged in discussions on the future of Indian startups and their role in driving economic growth.
