Lok Sabha 2024: During a public address in Jamnagar, Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that the Congress party in the 2024 Lok Sabha election is pursuing two distinct strategies. Firstly, he highlighted their aim to sow divisions within society along caste lines. Secondly, he noted their efforts to consolidate their electoral support base through appeasement politics. Additionally, Modi accused the Congress of harboring intentions to amend the Constitution, thereby reallocating reservation benefits from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes to Muslims solely on the basis of religion.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his address at a rally in Jamnagar, Gujarat, outlined two key strategies employed by the Congress party in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections: firstly, the tactic of societal division along caste lines, and secondly, the consolidation of their vote bank through appeasement politics. He further alleged that the Congress aims to amend the Constitution to transfer reservation benefits from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes to Muslims based solely on religion.

PM Modi reiterated three challenges he posed to the Congress: to refrain from altering the Constitution to grant reservations to Muslims, to guarantee in writing that the rights of SCs, STs, and OBCs would not be compromised by diverting their reservation quotas to Muslims, and to pledge that their state governments and leaders would not pursue a covert agenda to provide reservations to Muslims.

Moreover, PM Modi accused Congress leaders of attempting to shield terrorists like Kasab following the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai, alleging that books were published with the intent of defending such terrorists, which were endorsed by Congress leaders.

It’s worth noting that the third phase of voting in the Lok Sabha elections is scheduled for May 7, with the elections being conducted in seven phases overall. The first phase saw voting in 102 constituencies, followed by the second phase involving 89 Lok Sabha seats on April 26.
