Lok Sabha 2024: Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday, accusing him of repeatedly changing his stance.
Speaking at a rally in Delhi’s Sangam Vihar, Shah stated, “Kejriwal, who once vowed to take action against the corrupt, has himself been arrested in a corruption case. This is just one scam, with investigations pending for seven more.”
He further added, “Kejriwal is the only leader clinging to the Chief Minister’s chair despite facing corruption charges. He has even constructed a bungalow befitting a billionaire.”
Shah also targeted Kejriwal over the recent controversy involving the alleged assault of Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal at the Chief Minister’s residence.
“A woman MP was assaulted at the Chief Minister’s residence. Such a CM cannot protect women,” Shah remarked.
He continued, “Kejriwal believes in odd-even. On odd days, he lectures on corruption, listing the corrupt. On even days, he allies with the corrupt and becomes part of the INDI Alliance. On odd days, he demands resignations, but on even days, he is sent to jail and yet doesn’t resign.”
“Arvind Kejriwal is a shameless person. He was sent to jail in a corruption case but did not relinquish his CM seat. It’s time to expose a hypocrite like Arvind Kejriwal,” Shah concluded.

Amit Shah also addressed a rally in Jhajjar, Haryana, launching a comprehensive attack on the Congress party and the INDIA bloc.
“Congress is spreading lies that if the BJP gains a majority, reservations will be scrapped. As long as the BJP is in Parliament, no one will be able to touch reservations. Rahul Gandhi started the Bharat Jodo Yatra at the beginning of this election, but by the end, it will be a ‘Congress Dhundo Yatra’. After the Lok Sabha elections, Congress won’t be visible even with binoculars,” Shah stated.
He further claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, has already surpassed 270 seats in the first four phases of the General Elections, while Congress and Rahul Gandhi are struggling to secure even 40 seats.
“Sonia Gandhi wants to make her son the Prime Minister, and Hooda wants to make his son the Chief Minister. Politicians who prioritize their children’s careers over the nation’s youth cannot benefit the country,” Shah added.
