ISKCON Flyover Accident: Tathya Patel, the accused in the Iskcon flyover accident case, filed a temporary bail application with the Gujarat High Court on Wednesday, citing a heart-related ailment. After the initial hearing, the High Court requested his medical records and scheduled the next hearing for June 14.

Previously, Tathya had sought a 20-day bail due to irregular heartbeat and breathing issues, but the government lawyer opposed the request, asserting that his health was normal based on a medical examination at UN Mehta Hospital as ordered by the trial court.

Consequently, Tathya withdrew that bail application. The accident, caused by Tathya driving a speeding car on the Iskcon flyover in July last year, resulted in nine fatalities.
