DLF, a prominent player in the real estate sector, announced on January 8 that it has achieved a significant milestone by selling over 1000 luxury housing units from its latest project, Privana South in Gurugram, amounting to ₹7200 crore. This remarkable feat was accomplished within just three days of the pre-launch phase.
Covering approximately 25 acres (about 10 hectares) in Gurugram’s Sectors 76 and 77, DLF’s luxury residential project, Privana South, experienced a remarkable sell-out within 72 hours during its pre-launch phase, as revealed in a regulatory filing by the company.
In 2023, DLF had introduced The Arbour, a high-rise luxury housing project, which achieved pre-formal launch sales surpassing ₹8,000 crore after almost a decade of hiatus. The project was completely sold out before its official launch.
The enclave of DLF Privana South consists of 1,113 luxury residences spread across seven towers, featuring 4 BHK apartments and penthouses. This development is part of the larger DLF Privana, which spans approximately 116 acres in Sectors 76 and 77, according to the company.
Offering panoramic views of the lush Aravalli Range and situated near the upcoming Safari Park spanning 10,000 acres, DLF Privana South has become the latest prestigious addition to the company’s luxury residential portfolio. The rapid sellout during the pre-launch phase underscores the growing demand for DLF’s high-rise luxury developments and reflects the allure of the highly coveted DLF lifestyle.
Aakash Ohri, Joint Managing Director and Chief Business Officer at DLF Home Developers Ltd., highlighted the strategic approach to discourage bulk bookings by allocating only one unit per buyer. Approximately 25% of the sales were attributed to Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), and the booking amount was set at ₹50 lakh, deviating from the industry standard of ₹10 lakh.
According to Aakash Ohri, Joint Managing Director and Chief Business Officer of DLF Home Developers Ltd., DLF Privana South is poised to establish new standards in luxury living, marking the company’s foray into a region that is becoming the new focal point of the city amid burgeoning businesses.
Strategically positioned near the convergence of Southern Peripheral Road, NH-48, NPR (Dwarka Expressway), and CPR, the project offers seamless accessibility to key city hubs and beyond. Surrounded by well-developed infrastructure, including offices, schools, 5-star hotels, and golf courses, DLF Privana South is strategically located.
Designed by ARCOP, the project’s interiors prioritize luxury, featuring expansive 9’9”-wide large decks and lofty 3.4-meter floor-to-floor heights. This design offers panoramic views of both the Aravalli range and the dynamic Gurugram skyline. The project’s 472-meter frontage along a 60-meter sector road has been purposefully crafted to enhance air circulation, increase visibility, maximize natural light, and provide exceptional connectivity, as stated in the company’s regulatory filing.
