    Ahmedabad: Fire at Vastral Depot Destroys Electric Buses

    Ahmedabad: Three electric buses parked at the Vastral bus depot in Ahmedabad caught fire early Tuesday morning, resulting in extensive damage, according to Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation officials. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported.

    The incident involved Ahmedabad Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) buses, which were being charged when one bus ignited, causing the fire to spread to two adjacent buses. Both the buses and the charging equipment were damaged in the blaze.

    Arjav Shah, Deputy Municipal Commissioner, stated that while the exact cause of the fire is still unknown, an inquiry by the fire and police departments is underway.
