Amitabh Bachchan Returns: The trailer for the Gujarati film Fakt Purusho Maate has been unveiled, featuring a special appearance by megastar Amitabh Bachchan. The trailer opens with Bachchan in conversation with Darshan Jariwala, where he introduces himself as “pan-Indian” rather than South Indian. Fakt Purusho Maate, the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster hit, is set to release on August 23.

The film stars Yash Soni, Mitra Gadhvi, and Esha Kansara, and is written and directed by Jay Bodas and Parth Trivedi. This comedy of errors marks the third Gujarati collaboration between Anand Pandit and Vaishal Shah.

Anand Pandit, speaking about the film, stated, “Like Fakt Mahilao Maate, the sequel also addresses pertinent issues in a light-hearted manner, tackling generational patriarchy to promote gender equality and the right to love beyond social restrictions. We are thrilled with the fans’ reception of the trailer and hope to meet their expectations when the film releases on August 23.”

Vaishal Shah added, “Following up Fakt Mahilao Maate, which explored the unspoken feelings of women, with a comedy about men’s inner conflicts has been a joy. This film is both a family entertainer and thought-provoking, encouraging intergenerational conversations and bridging communication gaps. Working with Anand Pandit has once again been a pleasure, and we look forward to our next compelling project.”

The film humorously examines generational divides and the clash between tradition and modernity.
