Automobile: Hyundai has revealed the interior of the new Hyundai ALCAZAR facelift, a striking 6 and 7-seater SUV that combines advanced features with an eye-catching design. Set to launch next month, this updated version aims to enhance road presence and luxurious comfort, positioning itself as a formidable contender in the mid-size SUV market.

    Premium Interior and Advanced Technology

The refreshed Hyundai ALCAZAR features a dual-tone Noble brown and haze navy color scheme that creates a luxurious and contemporary atmosphere. Borrowing updates from the latest Hyundai Creta, the cabin provides a calm, high-tech feel. The facelifted interior now includes a twin 10.25-inch infotainment screen and digital instrument cluster, along with new horizontal ventilation and a quilted seat pattern, enhancing its sophisticated ambiance. The 6-seater variant offers captain seats with improved cushioning and a folding armrest in the second row, while the 7-seater version features a seat tumble mechanism for easy third-row access.

The ALCAZAR facelift is packed with features like dual-zone automatic climate control, ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof for a premium travel experience. A front radar signals the addition of Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with up to 19 features, further boosting safety and convenience. These updates make the ALCAZAR a strong competitor against rivals such as the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, and MG Hector.

Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai Motor India Limited, stated, “The bold new Hyundai ALCAZAR has been meticulously crafted, offering robust design and comfort. With its commanding presence characterized by a bolder, taller, and wider stance, it radiates grandeur and sophistication. The premium SUV now offers enhanced seat comfort and a splendid cabin, ensuring an unparalleled experience for passengers. It stands out as an ideal choice for city commutes or long journeys.”

    Enhanced Design and Exterior Features

The Hyundai ALCAZAR facelift introduces several new design elements and exterior color options. The front features a larger grille with horizontal chrome strips, split LED headlamps, and H-shaped LED DRLs connected by a thin light bar, enhancing its bold road presence.

The updated front bumper and skid plate, along with a redesigned rear bumper, revised tailgate, and new connected LED tail lamps, give the SUV a more modern, assertive look. New R18 diamond-cut alloy wheels, black-painted cladding, and a unique bridge-type roof rail further accentuate its dynamic profile and commanding road stance.

    Engine and Transmission

The ALCAZAR facelift retains its existing engine options, including a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine delivering 160 hp and 253 Nm of torque, available with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT. It also offers a 1.5-liter diesel engine generating 116 hp and 250 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
