Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG: What to Expect?
The recently launched fourth-generation Swift has been performing well for Maruti Suzuki, maintaining its position as one of the most popular hatchbacks on the market. According to a Carwale report, Maruti Suzuki is set to launch the Swift CNG on September 12, ahead of the festive season. The hatchback will be available in multiple trims, though it remains to be seen if the CNG variant will be limited to entry-level and mid-level versions or if Maruti will also offer a top-end model. The Swift CNG will feature the same 1197 cc Z12E naturally aspirated 3-cylinder petrol engine as its petrol counterpart, marking the first time this engine will be available in a CNG configuration.
Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG: Pricing
Given the typical price difference between ICE and CNG models in Maruti Suzuki’s lineup, the Swift CNG is expected to come with a premium of Rs 80,000 to Rs 90,000 over the petrol variants.
