Uttarakhand: Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, recently undertook a spiritual journey to Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham in Uttarakhand. His pilgrimage began on Sunday.
At Badrinath, he was warmly received by Ajendra Ajay, President of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC). Ambani donned a traditional white kurta-pyjama, complemented by a beige Nehru jacket, reflecting his reverence for the sacred sites.
As one of India’s leading business figures, Ambani’s visit underscores his connection to spirituality and tradition. Badrinath Dham, a revered Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Vishnu, holds immense significance. During his visit, Ambani participated in religious rituals and sought blessings at the temple.

Following his prayers, Ambani donated ₹5 crore to the Badri-Kedar temple committee, exemplifying his commitment to supporting religious institutions. Notably, he had made a similar visit to these shrines with his family last year.
Regarding temple schedules, the Kedarnath temple will close on November 3, and Badrinath on November 17, marking the end of the pilgrimage season. The Char Dham Yatra will also conclude, with Yamunotri closing on October 24 and Gangotri on October 26.
