A total of 14.28 lakh students from Classes 10 and 12 will appear for the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) exams in 2025. The board exams are scheduled to begin on February 27 and conclude on March 17.

Of these, 8,92,882 students have registered for the Class 10 exams, including 4,285 specially-abled students. In the Standard 12 General stream, 4,23,909 students have enrolled, with 1,822 being specially-abled. Meanwhile, the Standard 12 Science stream has 1,11,384 registered candidates, including 144 specially-abled students.

To ensure a smooth examination process, 989 centres across 87 zones have been designated for Class 10 students. For the Standard 12 exams, 152 centres in 54 zones will cater to Science stream students, while 520 centres in 59 zones will accommodate General stream candidates.

Stringent measures have been implemented to maintain exam integrity. All exam centres are under CCTV surveillance, and the transportation of question papers will be strictly monitored using the PATA application. Additionally, the use of mobile phones and electronic gadgets at exam venues is strictly prohibited.

Authorities have also advised students and parents to be cautious of misleading information about question papers circulating on social media.

    Video Lessons for Weak Students

To support rural and academically weaker students in passing their Class 10 and 12 board exams, the Ahmedabad Rural DEO has launched 13 one-hour video lessons under the initiative ‘Amulya Ek Kalak Tajagnoni Tips Saath’.

“This initiative is aimed at helping weaker students clear their board exams. With expert guidance, they can revise effectively and improve their chances of success,” said Ahmedabad Rural DEO Krupa Jha.
