Following an in-depth investigation, a significant revelation emerged in the case.
Throat Slit in Cold Blood
Ajiz Khan Pathan, a resident of Dilip Chali near Naroda Patiya, was married in 2009. After marriage, he lived in a rented room near Naroda Patiya with his wife, Karishma Banu, and their three children. However, due to conflicts, the couple divorced three years ago. After the divorce, Karishma moved to Vatva and started living on rent with a man named Raju Sindhi.
Two months ago, Ajiz and Karishma reconciled and decided to remarry after Ramadan. This decision did not sit well with Raju Sindhi. On Monday night, as Ajiz was returning from Vatva to Naroda after buying new clothes for his wife and children, Raju lured him to an isolated place and slit his throat, killing him on the spot.
Murder Committed to Win Over His Lover
According to Isanpur PI B.S. Jadeja, the police arrested the accused, Raju Sindhi, after an extensive investigation. During interrogation, Raju confessed that he was in a relationship with the victim’s wife. However, after her reconciliation with her former husband, she was planning to reunite with him. To prevent this and to be with his lover, Raju murdered her former husband by slitting his throat.
