Gujarat Police Accident: Tragic Crash on Bharatmala Highway in Haryana
A major accident occurred on the Bharatmala Highway in Haryana near Saktakheda village, close to the Wadingkheda petrol pump. A car belonging to the Ahmedabad Police from Gujarat met with a horrific accident. The police vehicle collided with a parked vehicle on the highway, resulting in the deaths of three police personnel.
According to reports, the accident took place early Wednesday morning on the Bharatmala four-lane highway passing through Sirsa, Haryana. The Ahmedabad Police were on their way to Punjab for an investigation when their car crashed into a stationary vehicle on the roadside. Three police personnel lost their lives on the spot, while one officer sustained critical injuries.
Upon receiving the information, an NHAI team immediately reached the accident site and transported all the injured and deceased to the hospital. Due to the severity of injuries, one victim was referred to Bathinda for advanced treatment. Meanwhile, Dabwali Police have initiated an investigation, and the Gujarat Police are also in contact regarding the matter.
Gujarat Police Were En Route to Punjab for Investigation
The Ramol Police from Ahmedabad were traveling to Punjab for a case investigation when their vehicle crashed into the rear of a parked trailer. The deceased have been identified as Police Constable Sunil Gamit, Home Guard Ravindra, and private driver Kanubhai Bharwad. Initial reports also indicate that PSI J.P. Solanki from Ramol Police Station sustained severe injuries. The tragic accident has cast a wave of sorrow over the police department.
