    Gujarat Weather Updates:
Following the official onset of the monsoon in Kerala, various parts of the country have started experiencing the early signs of the rainy season. The neighboring state of Maharashtra has also officially declared the arrival of the monsoon, and rain showers have begun across Mumbai.

In Gujarat, the Meteorological Department has issued an Orange Alert for Valsad and Navsari districts, predicting heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds. Meanwhile, a Yellow Alert has been issued for Surat, Tapi, and Dang districts, with forecasts of rain along with gusty winds.

Strong Winds Expected in Valsad and Navsari

According to the weather department, winds are likely to blow at speeds between 41 to 60 km/h in Valsad and Navsari districts. Heavy rainfall is also expected in these areas alongside the strong winds.

    Yellow Alert in 3 Districts

In the districts of Surat, Tapi, and Dang, the Gujarat Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow Alert due to expected rainfall and winds. Many parts of Surat have already been experiencing rainy conditions over the past few days, exposing the lack of preparedness by local authorities.
