Automobile: Here’s a rundown of 10 new SUVs set to launch in India before the end of this year, showcasing the dynamic growth of the Indian automotive industry. Major brands like Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra, Kia, MG, Nissan, Audi, and Mercedes are preparing to introduce these exciting models:
Mahindra XUV 3OO EV:
The electric version of the Mahindra XUV 3OO compact SUV is anticipated to launch before the end of 2024. It will likely use the smaller battery pack from the XUV 400, positioning it as a direct competitor to the Tata Punch EV.
Tata Curvv ICE:
Tata will announce the prices of the Curvv ICE on September 2. This SUV will be available with a 1.2L Revotron petrol, 1.2L GDI turbo petrol, and a 1.5L diesel engine, offering both manual and automatic transmission options. Expect features similar to its EV sibling, with a starting price around Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift:
Hyundai is set to reveal the prices of the facelifted Alcazar on September 9. Drawing inspiration from the latest Creta, this model will introduce new features, including Level 2 ADAS.
Kia EV9:
Arriving on October 3, the Kia EV9 will be the brand’s flagship model, offered in a fully-loaded AWD trim as a full import. Positioned above the EV6, this seven-seater will be packed with advanced features and technology.
MG Windsor EV:
Launching on September 11, the MG Windsor EV, based on the Wuling Cloud EV, is a midsize electric crossover that blends SUV and sedan characteristics to offer a spacious interior. Key features include 135-degree reclinable rear seats and a panoramic glass roof, with a range of nearly 500 km.
Tata Nexon CNG:
The CNG version of the Tata Nexon is expected in the coming weeks. It will incorporate twin-cylinder technology, preserving usable boot space, and will become the first turbo CNG car in India upon its launch.
Audi Q6 e-tron:
