Automobile: Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2024 Destini 125, featuring substantial upgrades to this popular scooter model. The updated Destini 125 sports a refreshed design and enhanced features, while retaining the same engine. However, the chassis has been significantly revised, now equipped with 12-inch wheels at both ends, a wider rear tire, and an updated suspension setup, which collectively enhance stability and agility.
The 2024 Destini 125 is offered in three variants: VX, ZX, and ZX+. The base VX model comes with a front drum brake, a basic analog dashboard, and does not include Hero’s i3s fuel-saving technology. The mid-level ZX variant adds a Bluetooth-compatible digital dash, a backlit starter button, front disc brake, pillion backrest, and auto-cancelling indicators. The top-spec ZX+ further enhances the scooter with chrome accents, machined alloy wheels, along with all the features found in the ZX variant.
All variants are equipped with standard features like the Combined Braking System (CBS), side stand engine cut-off, boot light, USB charging port, and an external fuel filler. The underseat storage capacity is 19 liters, complemented by an additional 2 liters of storage in the cubby on the front apron.
Although the engine remains the same, Hero has refined the CVT calibration to improve refinement and fuel efficiency. The scooter boasts a fuel efficiency of 59 kilometers per liter, certified by ICAT.
The 2024 Destini 125 is expected to be priced slightly higher than its predecessor, but with its significant upgrades and improved performance, it presents a strong option for scooter enthusiasts.
