Balaji’s journey in the film industry commenced as a unit production manager in Kamal Haasan’s ambitious project, ‘Marudhunayagam’. However, it was his portrayal of an IPS officer in the 2003 Suriya-starrer “Kaaka Kaaka” that catapulted him to stardom, earning recognition and acclaim from both the film fraternity and audiences within the Tamil film industry.
In addition to his notable presence in Tamil cinema, Balaji ventured into acting in Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu films. He also made a mark in the television industry with his role in Radikaa Sarathkumar’s “Chithhi.” His compelling portrayal of Daniel in the series led to him being recognized by the screen name Daniel Balaji.
