Directed by Krishnadev Yagnik, Vash Level 2 is performing strongly at the box office. The film is the sequel to the 2023 Gujarati psychological supernatural hit Vash. Its second installment, titled Vash Vivash 2, has also been released in Hindi. The movie has received positive reviews from both critics and audiences, which is fueling its box office success. Let’s take a look at how much Vash Level 2, starring Janki Bodiwala, Hitu Kanodia, Monal Gajjar, and Hiten Kumar, collected on its third day.
Vash Level 2 Day 3 Box Office Collection
After a strong start on its first two days, Vash Level 2 added another ₹80 lakh to its earnings on Friday. According to Pinkvilla’s report, the film’s total three-day collection at the Indian box office now stands at ₹2.95 crore. Interestingly, it is performing better than big-budget films like War 2 and Coolie. On Friday, it even surpassed Hrithik Roshan’s War 2, which earned only ₹65 lakh on its third Friday.
A Midweek Release Strategy
Unlike regular Friday releases, this Gujarati film chose a Wednesday release, giving it a five-day extended opening weekend. With an opening of ₹1.15 crore in India, it has already become one of the biggest openers in Gujarati cinema history.
The film is doing well in its original Gujarati version, while the Hindi dubbed release has also gained significant traction. In just three days, the Hindi version alone has earned nearly ₹1 crore. With strong word of mouth, the collections are expected to grow further.
Expected Opening Weekend Business
Given the excellent audience response, Vash Level 2 is expected to perform strongly on Saturday and Sunday as well, with the possibility of setting new records. If the momentum continues, this psychological supernatural drama could collect around ₹4–5 crore in its extended five-day weekend.
Challenges in the Hindi Market
Despite its success, the Hindi version’s box office could have been higher. The challenge lies in its limited release across the northern region, where it is competing with Maddock Films’ Param Sundari, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor. It remains to be seen whether Vash Level 2 can emerge as another Hindi blockbuster like Mahavatar Narsimha or not.
