    Ahmedabad: Housing sales have witnessed a 31% rise with the sale of 4.77 lakh units in the top 7 cities.

    Housing sales have surged by 31% this year, reaching an all-time high of nearly 4.77 lakh units across seven major cities, despite an average price appreciation of 15% and higher mortgage rates, according to Anarock. The annual data from the primary housing market in seven major cities reveals a significant increase in housing sales, rising from 3,64,870 units in 2022 to 4,76,530 units in the current calendar year.

    A study indicates that Ahmedabad is the most affordable city for homes

    Ahmedabad, Pune, and Kolkata are identified as the most affordable cities for home buyers, while Mumbai remains the most expensive, followed by Hyderabad, as per the latest Affordability Index report by Knight Frank.
