    Ahmedabad: A master of color brings vitality to the world of art.

    Recognized as the ‘colour chef’ for her adeptness with hues, Panna Patel showcases her skills in the exhibition titled ‘Safar.’ The collection features a series of multimedia paintings, including abstracts, still life, relief painting, murals, and crafts, using mediums such as acrylic, watercolor, resin, lipan, and more. The diverse interests and expertise of this master-of-all are vividly displayed in her artwork.

    A blossoming flower exhibition graces the Sabarmati Riverfront.

    If you’ve recently passed by the flower garden on the Sabarmati Riverfront, the vibrant scene of diligent workers and a burst of colors would have caught your attention. The cause of this lively activity is the 11th edition of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s annual flower show, set to open today and continue until Uttarayan. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is scheduled to inaugurate the event.

    Anticipated highlights of this year’s exhibition include replicas of Vadnagar’s iconic archway, models of Vibrant Gujarat, a floral idol of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the New Parliament House, the Sun Temple of Modhera, the Vikram Lander (Chandrayaan-3), and more.

    A remarkable 400-meter-long floral structure is adorned with over 700,000 saplings representing various flower species such as Petunia, Dianthus, Chrysanthemum (Sevanti), Vimka, etc., totaling more than 15 lakh seedlings on display. Additionally, visitors can explore over 30 exotic varieties of flowers showcased from today.

    More than 50 art students, spanning various age groups, have brought life to blank canvases, transforming them into vibrant pieces of art that reflect the artistic skills they’ve honed during their studies at the Elysian Art Academy. The art exhibition serves as a testament to the creative journey of these students under the mentorship of various experts. From captivating sketches to expressive watercolors, global postcards to intricate portraits and religious figures, the diverse array of artworks promises to captivate viewers.

    Unveiling the unseen hues, tints, and shades of nature.

    The group exhibition ‘Ethereal Hues… A Visual Symphony’ offers a visual delight for art enthusiasts in the city. Featuring the works of 13 artists, the exhibition includes a diverse range of mediums such as mixed media, watercolors, acrylic on canvas, and sculptures. The showcased pieces explore themes like temples, architectural marvels, nature, and portraits. Particularly intriguing are the artworks under the title ‘Indigo,’ where the artist intricately depicts nature in a detailed manner.
