    Ahmedabad Streets Alive with Joy After India’s Win, Fans Carry Tricolor Flags

    Champions Trophy Victory Celebration:
    India clinched the Champions Trophy title for the third time, defeating New Zealand by four wickets with one over to spare in a thrilling final. New Zealand had set a target of 251 runs for 7 wickets in 50 overs. In reply, India successfully chased down the target, scoring 254 runs for 6 wickets in 49 overs to secure the championship.

    Grand Celebrations in Ahmedabad till Late Night:
    Following India’s victory, grand celebrations erupted across the country. While cricketers celebrated on the field, cricket fans took to the streets in joy. In Ahmedabad, traffic jams were reported at several places as people thronged the roads to celebrate. On Sindhu Bhavan Road, many families arrived in cars with their children, waving flags to mark the win. Roads in Maninagar were also blocked due to the crowd, with people waving the tricolor and chanting “India! India!” in excitement.

    Celebrations Across Gujarat and Other Cities:
    Not only Ahmedabad, but cities across Gujarat, including Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, and Jamnagar, saw people pouring onto the streets to celebrate India’s triumph. Some enjoyed their favorite meals, while others went out for a drive to mark the occasion. Videos from cities like Jammu, Indore, and Mumbai also went viral on social media, showing people celebrating the historic win.

    Key Performances in the Final Match:
    Captain Rohit Sharma was named Player of the Match for his aggressive knock of 76 runs off 83 balls, which included seven boundaries and three sixes as an opener. In bowling, Kuldeep Yadav made crucial breakthroughs by dismissing Rachin Ravindra (37) and Kane Williamson (11). Varun Chakravarthy took two wickets, while Ravindra Jadeja contributed significantly with an economical spell, giving away just 30 runs in 10 overs and taking a wicket. Senior fast bowler Mohammed Shami, although expensive, managed to take one wicket for 74 runs in his nine overs.
