Ahmedabad Bullet Train Crane Accident
Construction work for the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train is progressing rapidly. However, yesterday, a major accident occurred in the Vatva-Ropda area of Ahmedabad when a crane collapsed while erecting a bridge for the bullet train. Two workers were reportedly injured in the incident, but no major casualties have been reported.
Impact on Train Services
According to reports, the crane, which was placed on a bullet train pillar, suddenly collapsed, damaging the nearby railway tracks. As a result, several trains running on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route were affected. Sources indicate that around 10 trains traveling from Vadodara to Ahmedabad were delayed and had to be halted at various stations.

Route and Schedule Changes
Due to the large size of the crane, the overhead wires on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai railway line were damaged, causing multiple trains to come to a standstill. Currently, the up-line is operational, but trains on the down-line have been halted. Several train schedules have been modified, and some routes have been diverted.
