Ahmedabad: Around 40,000 preschools across Gujarat shut down on Tuesday in protest against the state government’s “failure” to resolve issues related to registration rules.
The government has mandated all preschools to register by February 2025, but ambiguities in the directives have caused delays in the process.
Members of the Gujarat Independent Preschool Association staged demonstrations and submitted a memorandum of demands to Minister of State for Education, Praful Pansheriya.
