Vastral: Reckless driving in the eastern part of Ahmedabad has led to an increase in fatal accidents and hit-and-run cases.

Near Panjrapol in Vastral, three young men were riding on a bike when they attempted to overtake a speeding truck. The truck collided with the bike, causing all three riders to fall onto the ground. Unfortunately, the bike rider was caught under the truck’s wheels, sustaining severe head and body injuries, resulting in his death on the spot. The other two riders suffered minor injuries. Traffic police from the I-Division have registered a case against the truck driver and initiated further investigation.

Truck Driver Flees After Causing Accident

A 21-year-old resident of Nikol was riding his friend’s bike, carrying two friends as pillion riders. While traveling from Vastral crossroads towards Panjrapol, he attempted to overtake a truck, which led to a collision. The impact caused all three riders to fall, and the truck’s wheel ran over the main rider’s head, leading to his immediate death. His two friends sustained minor injuries. Traffic police have registered a case and are searching for the truck driver.
