Gujarat Gun Culture: Massive Fake Arms License Racket Exposed with Political and Entertainment Industry Links
The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) in Gujarat is uncovering a major scam involving fake arms licenses allegedly issued in the name of government departments from Nagaland and Manipur. These bogus licenses were used to purchase a large number of firearms, and the investigation has already revealed several shocking details.
According to ATS sources, a large quantity of weapons was purchased in Saurashtra using these fake permits. The probe has further revealed that close associates of a prominent political figure from Ahmedabad had obtained such licenses. Additionally, the name of a relative of an MLA from South Gujarat has surfaced during the investigation.
Widening Political Web
New findings indicate that the accused were in collusion with a high-profile political leader from Ahmedabad, enabling the issuance of numerous fake licenses. The ATS also uncovered that an MLA from South Gujarat was in possession of weapons, and several relatives of a senior political figure from Surendranagar district had acquired arms licenses as well.
With these political connections coming to light, the case has taken a political turn, reportedly placing ATS officials in a tight spot due to pressure and complications arising from high-level involvement.
Link to Entertainment Industry: Performers in the Spotlight
The racket further revealed that fake residency documents from Nagaland and Manipur were used to procure these arms. Reports suggest that several artists from Gujarat’s folk performance scene (“dayra” artists) might have also acquired weapons illegally.
There is growing speculation that Arjun Algoter played a key role in facilitating these illegal licenses and revolvers, especially for individuals from the entertainment industry. His alleged connections with various Gujarati performers have raised serious concerns.
Mind Master Arrested: More Revelations Expected
Adding another layer to the scandal, “Mind Master” Shaukat Ali was recently arrested from Haryana, and authorities believe this could lead to even more explosive revelations. As the crackdown continues, many dayra performers are reportedly in panic, trying to distance themselves from the case. Sources suggest a rush to leverage political influence in hopes of avoiding legal consequences.
If the police choose to deepen the investigation into this angle, the names of several individuals who acquired weapons just to boost their social status may soon be exposed.
