Jamnagar: Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani is set to build the world’s largest data center in Jamnagar, Gujarat, according to Bloomberg. This landmark project aims to bolster India’s rapidly advancing artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and strengthen its digital infrastructure.

The data center will play a crucial role in enhancing India’s competitiveness in the global AI landscape. To support this initiative, Reliance is strategically investing in AI technologies by reportedly procuring advanced semiconductors from leading AI technology developer NVIDIA.

    Reliance Industries Financial Growth

Reliance Industries reported a strong financial performance in its third-quarter results, with a 12% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit, reaching ₹21,930 crore as of December 31. This growth was driven by robust performance across its digital services, retail, and oils-to-chemicals businesses.

This data center initiative marks another step in Reliance’s efforts to lead India’s digital transformation and AI development.
