Bikaner: Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again took a strong stand against terrorism during his address in Bikaner, Rajasthan. He stated that terrorists had once desecrated the sindoor of our mothers and sisters based on their religion—but now, the world has witnessed what happens when that same sindoor turns into gunpowder.
In retaliation for the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, the Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor and destroyed nine major terrorist locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) within just 22 minutes, bringing Pakistan to its knees.
On Thursday, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth over ₹26,000 crore in Bikaner. He visited the Karni Mata temple in the morning and virtually inaugurated 103 redeveloped railway stations across 86 districts in 18 states under the ‘Amrit Bharat Station Scheme’. He emphasized that India is rapidly modernizing its railway network and infrastructure.
This was PM Modi’s first public address in Rajasthan after the army’s response under Operation Sindoor—an operation launched in retaliation for the killing of Hindus in the Pahalgam terror attack. He stated that after the attack, the military was given full freedom to act. The three branches of the armed forces coordinated with such precision that Pakistan was left with no option but to surrender.

Reinforcing India’s tough stance, Modi confirmed that the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan has been temporarily halted and declared that Pakistan will not receive even a drop of India’s rightful share of water. “No force can deter this resolve of India,” he said. “Pakistan will pay a heavy price for supporting terrorism.”
Sending a firm message not only to Pakistan but also to global leaders like U.S. President Donald Trump and Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif, Modi said, “There will be no trade and no talks with Pakistan. The only discussion now will be on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK).”
He passionately added, “My veins no longer carry warm blood—they carry sindoor. India has made it clear that Pakistan will pay dearly for every terrorist act. The airbase at Rahim Yar Khan in Pakistan has been damaged so severely it’s now in the ICU.”
PM Modi further explained that Operation Sindoor has established three firm rules in the fight against terrorism:
- Any terrorist attack on India will be met with a fierce and decisive response, treated as an act of war, and the timing of the response will be decided by the Indian military.
- India will not be intimidated by nuclear threats.
- Any government that supports terrorism will be treated the same as terrorists.
“This is not just retaliation for Pahalgam—it is a path to justice. This is the strength of a powerful, new India. We are no longer just entering the enemy’s territory—we are striking directly at their heart,” he concluded.
