Indian Railways: Following the train’s departure from Ahmedabad Junction, the user highlighted that the issue arose when ticketless passengers flooded the sleeper coach.

A recent social media post by an individual shed light on the discomfort caused by overcrowding from ticketless passengers aboard the sleeper coach of the Bhuj-Shalimar Express. On platform X, the user recounted their unfortunate experience in coach S5, where unauthorized travelers filled the compartments.

The user detailed how the issue escalated following the train’s departure from Ahmedabad Junction. They described the challenges their family encountered as unreserved individuals occupied their designated seats and congested the aisles, hindering their ability to find seating.

Seeking resolution, the user reached out for assistance by tagging Ashwini Vaishnaw and the Indian Railways in their post.

The official customer care account of the Indian Railways, Railway Seva, responded to the post, assuring that measures would be taken to resolve the problem and uphold passenger safety and comfort.

Nevertheless, skepticism prevailed among many. With the post garnering over 2.8 million views, numerous individuals highlighted the escalating occurrences of ticketless passengers seizing seats forcefully. This issue transcends beyond sleeper coaches, with reports shared by passengers from AC compartments as well.
