    Kangana Ranaut Expresses Gratitude to BJP National President JP Nadda After Meeting

    Lok Sabha 2024: Actress Kangana Ranaut recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a post following her meeting with BJP national president JP Nadda. On Tuesday evening, she posted a photo along with a note, expressing her thoughts on the encounter.

    During their encounter, Kangana Ranaut, adorned in a pink saree and jewelry, posed next to BJP leader JP Nadda, beaming as she held a bouquet. Reflecting on the meeting, Kangana expressed gratitude towards Nadda, stating, “Today met National President Honorable Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji. I will always be grateful for his guidance and support, I will work hard for the progress and prosperity of my area Mandi. Jai Hind ??.”

    In a recent development, the BJP has officially nominated Kangana Ranaut as its Lok Sabha candidate for Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh. Expressing her excitement, Kangana shared her gratitude on Instagram, stating, “My beloved Bharat and Bhartiya Janta’s own party, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has always had my unconditional support. Today, the national leadership of BJP has announced me as their Lok Sabha candidate from my birthplace Himachal Pradesh, Mandi constituency. I abide by the high command’s decision on contesting Lok Sabha polls.” She further added, “I feel honored and elated to officially join the party. I look forward to being a worthy karyakarta and a reliable public servant. Thanks.”

    The Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to be conducted in seven phases, commencing from April 19 and concluding on June 1. The counting of votes will take place on June 4.

    In addition to Kangana Ranaut’s political venture, the BJP has nominated veteran actor Arun Govil, renowned for portraying the character of Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, as their candidate from Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut constituency.

    Shifting gears to her cinematic pursuits, Kangana is set to grace the screen in the upcoming period drama film “Emergency,” which marks her directorial debut. Scheduled for release on June 14, the film sees Kangana portraying the titular role of the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Joining her in the cast are Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik, all playing pivotal roles in the production.
