Lok Sabha 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after casting his vote in the Ahmedabad constituency on Tuesday, rallied citizens to engage enthusiastically in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections’ third phase by exercising their voting rights extensively. He emphasized that their robust participation would enrich the electoral dynamics.
The Prime Minister conveyed this imperative through various mediums, including X, in multiple languages such as Bengali, Assamese, Kannada, Gujarati, Marathi, and Hindi, urging all voters in the current phase to turn out in unprecedented numbers.

The third phase encompasses 93 constituencies spread across 11 states and Union territories. With over 1,300 candidates, including about 120 women, contending for seats, notable figures such as Union ministers Amit Shah (Gandhinagar), Jyotiraditya Scindia (Guna), Mansukh Mandaviya (Porbandar), Parshottam Rupala (Rajkot), Pralhad Joshi (Dharwad), and S P Singh Baghel (Agra) are in the fray.
A staggering 17.24 crore individuals, with 8.39 crore being women, hold the eligibility to exercise their voting rights in this phase.
To ensure a smooth voting process, 1.85 lakh polling stations have been set up, with 18.5 lakh officials deployed for the efficient conduct of the elections.
